Description The North Oakland Concert Band presents “Promising Skies.” This concert includes “Uranus” from Gustav Holst’s “The Planets” and “Promising Skies” by Robert Smith. Carl Grapentine will join us to narrate “The Lincoln Portrait” by Aaron Copland. Carl is recently retired from WFMT Classical Radio in Chicago and is the long-time announcer of The Michigan Marching Band and UM Football.
